Kafka on the Shore- Haruki Murakami

I suppose this is the best place to start since I have based the blog name and description off of the library in this book. I have to say that this is by far the best book I have read this summer. I definitely have a taste for the strange and abstract style that many Japanese writers seem to possess. I feel as though this story brings to life a completely different perspective of the connections that humans have to each other. Something similar to the degrees of relativity. There is definitely a main character however the book is telling two stories that are intertwined. It alternates between the two main characters which in the end are so connected that I was unable to let obscurity of the story escape my mind.
